Kartarpur Sahib was established in 1627 by the 6th Sikh Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, who bought the land from Raja Tara Chand of Kehloor through his son, Baba Gurditta. The place is also associated with the memory of a Muslim saint, Pir Buddan Shah.
It is situated on the bank of the Sutlej about 10 km south of Anandpur, about 30 km north of Rupnagar and 90 km from Chandigarh on the Nangal-Rupnagar-Chandigarh Road.
It is a sacred place for the Sikhs. Guru Nanak Dev is said to have visited this place when it was little more than a wilderness. Guru Hargobind, the sixth Guru spent the last few years of his life here. Both Guru Har Rai and Guru Harkrishan were also born at this place and they received the Gurgadi (Guruship) at this place.

Day 1: LAHORE

Morning trip to Wagha Border, afternoon visit to other Gurdawaras and Mazar of Hazrat Mian Meer in Lahore.

The town is famous for the Wagah border ceremony and also serves as a good transit terminal and a station between Pakistan and India. Wagah is situated 600 meters west of the border and lies on the historic Grand Trunk Road between Lahore and Amritsar in India. The border is located 24 Kilometers (15 Mi) from Lahore and 32 Kilometers (20 mi)from Amritsar. It is also 3 Kilometers (1.9 mi) from the bordering village of Attari.
Baba Sain Mir Mohammad Sahib (c. 1550 – 22 August 1635), popularly known as Mian Mir or Miyan Mir, was a famous Sufi Muslim Saint who resided in Lahore, specifically in the town of Dharampura (in present day Pakistan). He was a direct descendent of CAlip umar ibn al -Khuttab. He belonged to the Qadiri order of Sufism. He is famous for being a spiritual instructor of Dara Shikoh , the eldest son of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. He is identified as the founder of the Mian khel branch of Qadiri order. Day 3: NANKANA SAHIB – GURDWARA SACHA SAUDA
Day visit to Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Janam Asthan of Guru Nanak Dev Jee & other Gurdwaras : Patti Sahib , Bal Lilah , Tambu Sahib, Panjve / Chati Patshahi , Mall Ji Sahib & Kiara Sahib.
Nankana Sahib is a city and capital of Nankana Sahib District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is named after the first Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Nanak, who was born in the city and first began preaching here. Today it is a city of high historic and religious value and a popular pilgrimage site for Sikhs from all over the world. It is located about 80 km (50 mi) west of Lahore and about 75 km (47 mi) east of Faisalabad. The city has a population of approximately 70,000.
Gurdwara Janam Asthan, also referred to as Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, is a highly revered gurdwara that was built at the site where the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, was believed to be born. The shrine is located in the city of Nankana Sahib, near the city of Lahore in the Pakistani province of Punjab.

Gurdwara Sachcha Sauda is situated at a distance of 37 miles from Lahore on the Lahore-Lyallpur Railway Line Guru Nanak as a young man was sent by his father Mehta Kalu, who was Hoping to instill a sense of business in his son, to buy some goods which he cold return home with, then sell and make a profit. At least that was Mehta Kalu’s plan but along the way to his destination, the young Nanak came across some sadhus who were hungry and without food. The Guru to be decided to use the sum his father had given him (a sum of Rs. 20) with which to provide a meal, a langar for the Sadhus. Returning home without any purchases Mehta Kalu was very annoyed. But young Nanak explained to his father that as he saw it he had done a very good deed, feeding the starving Sadhus, and gaining the best profit one could gain from the money. It would not be the last time that Mehta Kalu would worry over his son.

Day 4: LAHORE – KARTARPUR – LAHORE
Day visit to KARTARPUR in Narowal
Kartarpur is located in the tehsil Shakargarh, Narowal District in Punjab, Pakistan, on the right bank of the Ravi River. It is said to have been founded by the first guru of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, where he established the first Sikh commune.
Kartarpur is close to the India-Pakistan border, and has seen some fighting in the area during 1965 and 1971 wars between the two neighbours. The first guru of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, founded Khartarpur in 1504 AD on the right bank of the Ravi River. The name Kartarpur means “place of God”. Here all people, irrespective of their religion or caste, lived together, representing the first ‘Sikh commune’. After his travels for about 20 years, Guru Nanak settled in Kartarpur along with his family. Following his death in 1539, Hindus and Muslims both claimed him as their own, and raised mausoleums in his memory with a common wall between them. The changing course of the Ravi River eventually washed away the mausoleums. But Guru Nanak’s son saved the urn containing his ashes and reburied it on the left bank of the river, where a new habitation was formed, representing the present day Dera Baba Nanak. At the location Gurun Nanak is believed to have died, theGurdwara Kartarpur Sahib was built.

Gurdwara Rori Sahib (32.0475 N 74.2489 E) is located 2 Kilometers south-east of present-day Eminabad and one and a half kilometer north-west of the center of the village called Talab. Eimanabad, an old town is about 5.5 Kilometers north of Lahore and 15 kilometers south of Gujranwala district in West Punjab, Pakistan. It is linked to Grand Trunk Road and Eminabad railway station by four kilometers stretch of metaled road. This area has three important historical shrimes of Sikhs – Gurdwara Rori Sahib, Gurdwara Chakki Sahib and Gurdwara Khuhi Bhai Lalo.
Day 6: RAWALPINDI – HASSAN ABDAL (PANJA SAHIB)
Departure for Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hassan Abdal. Visit the hill of wali Qandhari Hassan Abdal.
Gurdwara Panja Sahib is a famous gurdwara located in Hassan Abdal, Pakistan. The shrine is considered to be particular important as the handprint of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, is believed to be imprinted on a boulder at the gurdwara.
